Well, I finished the art project. It was pretty simple and I enjoyed doing it. I’m an arts and crafts kind of girl, so it was fun for me. And with the completion of the art project brings the end of the term! 3 more credits under the belt….only 30 more until graduation!
I would love to be able to take scrap metal pieces and make a cool sculpture or something like that… however I don’t have any tools, or any metal pieces.
I think I’m going to make a sort of online scrapbook with my wedding pictures. I love scrapbooking, but I will try something new by doing it digitally.
So I am officially done with the financial analysis project…now it’s time to start the art project. This is the one I’ve been looking forward to most because I love being creative. However, I have NO idea what I’m going to do! We’ll see…
I didn’t find the financial project to be too difficult…so now I’m worried I did something wrong! My husband and I are big into financial planning so it just came pretty naturally to me. I can’t believe we have only one project left!
I’ve been thinking about my dreams, and they are pretty simple. There are a few things, however, that would be really neat to do.
-I’d love to cruise hop with my husband for a year. We took a cruise for our honeymoon and we were so sad to leave!
-I’d love to live in Paris for a year. I’m nearly fluent in French, and I love France.
-I’d love to own a winery.
Although I was SUPER frustrated in the beginning of this project, once I got going, it worked out pretty well. I’m glad to be finished with it, and I’m also glad that it seems to have helped some classmates! I really appreciate all of the feedback during peer edit. It helps me so much.
On a side note- Dr. Patricia Bath read my Culture Site project and was happy with it. I am very excited that she approves of the paper that I wrote about her.
I’ve had a pretty crazy week, so I’m just now getting started on my teach project. I had no idea what I was going to teach until I looked at the list of suggestions. I sell a lot on Ebay, so I think that might be what I’m going to teach. I’m not really sure what else to do. I don’t know how to set up a VCR or anything like that. I’m not technologically savvy at all.
Well, I did it! After lots of work and technological frustration (I was having problems with the sub pages alphabetizing, among other things) I am finished and proud of what I’ve done! I hope Dr. Bath is pleased with my representation of her.
I found more information! It took a while, but I found a bunch of reputable sources of information on Dr. Bath. I listed all of the links in my blogroll.
I emailed Patricia Bath. It was not hard to find her email address because she has her own web page. I really hope she emails me back! The more I learn about her, the more I see that she has done SO MANY amazing things!
I’ve found many scholarly web pages to help me in my research, but not 7! I still need two or three more resources to meet the quota…
